Course: 2024 Megan’s Law/ Offender Watch Training
Course Description: Assistant Prosecutor Kim Savino French of the Megan's Law Unit, with the help of Tpr. Steve Hodgins and Tpr. Mike Raychel of the New Jersey State Police will be reviewing the Megan's Law Attorney General Guidelines as well as providing an in-depth overview of Offender Watch 3.0. This training is in anticipation of the New Jersey State Police Audit of Somerset County's Municipal Departments' Offender Watch systems, expected to take place this year. The details of the audit and what is to be expected will be discussed. This will be a great opportunity to network with other liaisons as well as resolve issues with Megan's Law and Offender Watch. The information provided will be beneficial for anyone involved in Megan's Law. Any officers who are new to Megan's Law Registrations are required to attend; other officers who wish to attend may also register. Light breakfast and coffee will be provided.
