Course: Handgun Fundamental Course (Somerset County Officers Only!!!)
Course Description: This course is for handgun shooting fundamentals. The goal of this course is for officers/detectives who are looking to better their marksmanship by refining the fundamentals required for accuracy and consistency.
The course will focus on:
Draw
Grip
Trigger positioning and control
Sight alignment and sight picture
Follow-up
Magazine changes
Required Equipment:
Handgun
Duty Belt
Vest
Eye Protection
Ear Protection
250 rounds of practice ammunition
Dates: Thursday, May 23, 2024 and Wednesday, September 25, 2024
