This 2 day course is geared for officers or tactical team members assigned to use a subgun as part of their duties in light and low light conditions. The program incorporates stress drills, transition drills, reloading drills, communication, cover and threat identification during the engagement of multiple targets, tactical movements and room entries. The shooter will utilize both the primary weapon (subgun) as well as a secondary weapon (handgun) using controlled fire technique. Additionally, the shooter will perform drills relative to initial patrol responses as well as entry team responses. Equipment Required: Duty subgun with sling and gun mounted light, 3 subgun magazines, up to 2000 rounds of ammunition, duty handgun 3 magazines, with 400 rounds of ammunition, ballistic vest, eye/ear protection, working flashlight and subgun mag pouches.
